We were walking in a park trying to find Yidden. It felt like a pretty fruitless day. We started speaking to a group of people at a picnic table and one woman in the group thought her boyfriend was Jewish. She told us to stick around because he was swimming and would be back soon. Later, when we were about to finish up and were walking to the car. We figured we would go back to that table where the group was, assuming the boyfriend would be there. It turns out he wasn’t Jewish, but as we were walking over someone yells "what are Lubavitcher bochurim doing in Lake Lansing?? You guys are saving me!" and he immediately put on tefillin.
